Tony Hogan Semi Acoustic Guitar

This Guitar Site is managed by Tony Hogan an Acoustic and Electric Guitarist.  The Electric Guiraist site has been developed to make available good resources, such as Guitar Tips, Guitar Videos, TAB and Music Notation and other material that will help guitar players develop.  It is also to inspire players to listen to other styles.

I have played guitar for 39 years, this has led through numerous styles working  professionally as a performer and also a student of some of the worlds great musicians such as Ike Isaacs, Don Andrews and Ashok Roy.  Also on the way I have built a number of guitars, both electric and acoustic, this has given me a greater insight into undertanding the guitar from the inside out.

As a guitar player I have learned that it is important to draw from  the wealth of information that is out there, to respect other players and their approach to music and not to critisize the weakness of other players but to see the good in their playing. 

As a player that has watched and been involved in the development of music over a 40 year period it is an honour to give something back, in the same ways that other players willingly shared their skills with me.   The medium of web technology is a perfect platform to pass on information that we take for granted and often forget that a lot of we carry around as second nature is something that other players require to complete their musical puzzle.
